HMS CSOP'2014 .

Awesome orientation for the past few days ! 3 days of CSOP + 1 day with course people ! really great time spent with the subtribe mates and OGLs, coursemates and classmates :)

At first I thought orientation was going to be boring, awkward and I wasn't looking forward to it. So went to school with Lisha, who was also in HMS, then it was like really awkward cause we didn't know anybody.  And so we were separated into our tribes and subtribes and really, coincidentally, Lisha just happened to be in the same subtribe as me !! Like okay, it wasn't that bad, at least I have someone I know and I don't need to feel weird or what. But my OGLs were really nice and friendly and so were my subtribe mates. We had ice breakers and by then, I guess we all pretty much knew each other a little better. So we played lots of games and I think it was pretty okay.

Then followed by lunch then some facility walk or something, where we had to go to various places around the school to play games at various stations, and it's also supposed to help us familiarize ourselves with the school and stuff. But I think a school tour would be more efficient hahahah cause we didn't get to go to most parts of the school during the facility walk segment as we needed to head back for the induction. Well I guess the Induction was pretty cool, they had a spoof on the drama "My Love From The Stars" where Do Min Joon was supposedly a lecturer at Ngee Ann, that really cracked me up. And they and performances and the puppet show was the most interesting one haha.

Day 2 came and we had talks and crash course in the morning (my course has like only 7 guys lols) then my subtribe wanted to go visit the CCA fiesta thing during lunch so we all went to the sports complex to take a look while Jacelyn, one of our OGL went to packet lunch for us. Then after that we headed to the grandstand to eat. And it seems like out mass games will be held there at the stadium, and we played this game like table soccer kind of thing, but it's like in real life lol. It was a short game though and then there were lots of cheering. The mass game thing was pretty fun though but it's a little short. Then we headed to some sports hall to sculpture balloons for our fundraising event the next day ! It was a really cool experience sculpturing the balloons, like I finally knew how to sculpture balloons HAHAH, although there were lots of failed flowers products, I still managed to make like 3 lololol.

Then the next day, Day 3, was fundraising day! We had to report at 10 at respective locations where we were selling our flowers, which was good cause that means more sleep :p, and so my subtribe were selling our balloon sculptured flowers outside the Tampines polyclinic, and then my subtribe split into two to sell the flowers, like on both ends of the polyclinic, and I was teamed with Lisha, Claudia, Sarah and Jacelyn. I must say that Lisha and Claudia are like really hyper and crazy, they kept laughing and laughing hahahaha. There were really generous people around and we're really thankful for that. Then there's this random guy who was a volunteer as well and he started talking to us about being a volunteer and stuff and even took a photo with us and asked for my number lolol, really friendly person but rather epic.

After fundraising, we headed back school for the finale item at the attic, there were performances by HMS people, dance for fun and also our OGLs from the 4 different tribes. X-men one was the best ! OUR OGL ACTUALLY DANCED TO A HI-5 SONG OMG "L-O-V-E, I LOVE YOU AND YOU LOVE ME" Our OGLs are AWESOME. Then the director of the school and the director of Beyond Social Services (who we are fundrasing for) came and it was revealed that we raised 16,400 !! we met our target of 10,000 and it is really great that we actually managed to raise so much for those in need, and of course it's because of the generous people in Singapore :)

Oh and X-MEN won the best cheer award !! yay #xmenpride, our cheers are really cool though haha. Then it was time to say goodbye and part ways as it came to the end of CSOP. We took photos, and our OGLs gave us handwritten letters aww so nice of them :') of course we also had letters to them as well. Well at least we are still able to keep touch with each other and meet up too ! Really great and proud to be part of subtribe 7; Mystique ♥

Day 4 was like more of a course thing, where we had industry visits with our classes. So my class, T01, went to SOKA Kindergarden, AND THE KIDS ARE LIKE SO ADORABLE I CANNOT. So the Principal talked to us more about the school, and then the Vice Principal took us around the school for a school tour. Really cool experience and the kids even sang their school song for us hahahahah.
Then after that we had diploma talk and also some portfolio building workshop (which was really boring tbvh). Well at least I made some friends heheh, like the 5 of us from T01 were seated at the last row and we kept laughing lmao. Looking forward to next week to know my class better :)
