MASAK MASAK 2015 .

So I've not blogged in a long while and now I have some time on my hands since most assignments are over, except for one more storytelling one due next week (super nervous about that one), but now finally back here to do a post! Didn't know what to blog about so I will be blogging about some of the places I have been to in Singapore for the past months!

Last month I went to the National Museum of Singapore to support one of my favourite actress, Jeanette Aw's art installation there! In line with her new book launch and the it's also the children's season at National  Museum of Singapore, she has created an installation there! As someone working and studying in the field and interacting with children, I went down to soak in the child-like atmosphere!

The first exhibit you see when you enter the museum is the 'Spectrum of Paper' which is really really colourful! I liked how it's all made using only coloured paper, hanging down from the ceiling, with origami figures like boats and planes!

Next I headed over to Jeanette Aw's exhibit area, where she collaborated with 2 other artists whom interpreted her new book 'Sol's World: Somebody To Love' in their own way and created art pieces based on it. This whole exhibit area is based on her book, and the two installations by Jeanette herself are interactive boards whereby vistors can colour in the drawings at 'Simple Pleasures in Life' and also scratch off the black board to reveal a bigger art piece underneath at 'Life's Best Journey Is With The One You Love'

Proof shots that I was there ~~

And I also left my initials on the drawing hehe

After I went out of the exhibit it was the museum shop and Jeanette's book is also sold there as well! I bought a copy like finally ~ Missed her fansign session due to some stuff and it was a pity but nevertheless I believe someday she will sign the books for me HAHA (;

'Masak Masak 2015' features various interactive installations by Singaporean and international artists including Jeanette Aw, Jeremy Hiah, Mademoiselle Maurice and Crystal Wagner! There were really beautiful and interactive exhibits and installations at the museum and it's nice seeing families bringing their children out and you can see the children really enjoying themselves there.

Do visit 'Masak Masak 2015' now till 31 August at the National Museum of Singapore! :)
Do also support Jeanette Aw's second book, 'Sol's World: Somebody To Love'!
