last presentation!!! thankful that it went smoothly! |
It's something which we have all looked forward to but when it suddenly comes at you, you suddenly realise time really passes super fast. Throughout this three years of my polytechnic life, I have experienced a lot, learnt a lot and grow a lot as a person as well.
Before I entered this course, I pondered a lot on if this was the route I want to pursue. I was still unsure back then (and still unsure now), but after learning everything and experiencing the past three years learning about early childhood, I didn't really regret my choice. It feels good to know that you can make a difference in children's lives and especially during the practicum sessions, it's one of the plus points of joining this course, which has allowed us to experience first hand how it is like to be in a childcare setting, and we can to plan lessons for the children, implement them and even do things which a centre leader would do. It's really satisfying to see that children or even teachers appreciate your lesson or what you have done so it makes everything worthwhile.
Throughout the three years, I have made new classmates, new friends and people who brought laughter into my life. It was been a fulfilling three years learning and working with people who are very different. It's interesting to see how people of different personalities come together and click well with one another. I'm thankful to meet a bunch of people who are willing to embrace my craziness and be there for the past three years. Will probably miss the times where we just laugh at nonsensical things and making fun of each other. Thanks for the company & understanding me and embracing my craziness :')
HAPPY PILLS |
And the lecturers!!! The many lecturers we have met for the past three years, I'm not going to try to name each and everyone but our poly education would not be possible to be complete without their unwavering help and concern for us!!
some of the lecturers for year 3.2! |
There were many times where we bid goodbye to each other but nothing felt as real as today. I'm not good with saying goodbyes and I always feel very upset whenever I have to part ways with people I have been for a long time. Still feeling surreal but it would probably sink in next week when there there is really no more lectures and tutorials, and no more assignments for us to do.
Now to countdown to the graduation ceremony in May, but first, GRADUATE LO!
