GO GO GFRIEND IN SINGAPORE 2019 .

"지금 이 순간 후회 없이 보여주고 싶어"

Last month, the day right after I touched down back in Singapore from my Taiwan Trip (blog post + vlog coming soon!!), immediately went for GFRIEND's Asia Tour 'Go Go GFRIEND' in Singapore!!! Was always a fan of their talent like totally awed by their synchronised dance moves and power-pure concepts so I was ready to be wowed away by the girls!

I have always liked their songs and concepts and I was really excited to watch them perform live and also have lots of fun enjoying their stages at the same time. Security was pretty strict that day so I didn't manage to take a lot of videos BUTTTTT I really enjoyed the concert experience :)

Prior to the concert, we also found out that our tickets won soundcheck as well as hi-touch so we were like legit damn lucky but unfortunately we had to be separated :( Don went for the soundcheck whilst I went for the hi-touch and omg I was in awe by their beauty!!!!

Met up with Donovan to eat dinner and also to get fansupport items around the area and here's us having dinner with Sinb and Yerin lmao.

They opened the show with 'Me Gusta Tu' and several other happy tunes which gave the show a positive vibe and feel from the start. My favourite part was when they performed 'Sunrise', 'Time For The Moon Night' and 'Memoria' one after another - those were songs that were really intense and powerful and showcases their perfect choreography and vocals as well.

They also switched things up a little and performed a ballad rendition of 'Rough' and their fan song 'Hope' - which the members wrote the lyrics to as well. There was also a fanevent and video planned and it was evident that the girls were touched and Yuju even got us to sing 'You Are Not Alone' together as an encore for the fanevent!

Sowon even went backstage to ask if they could perform 'Fever' as the final song for the setlist but because it wasn't planned, they were unable to and thus they did a short acapella ver. of it of the first verse and THEY ARE LEGIT.

After the show ended it was time for the hi-touch OMG i was legit nervous because I didn't know what to say to them (even though this was my 2nd hi-touch experience) but when the queue started moving, it was really fast because the guards kept rushing us and shouting "go! go! go! go!" to prompt us to keep moving so we legit only had like less than 10 seconds for the hi-touch.

Nevertheless they were all really pretty to see upclose and some of the members actually look you in the eye and you can see the sincerity as they thank you for coming to the concert. I remember very vividly Eunha's eye will follow you even as you walk past so that was really very nice of them.

It was a fun night and I am definitely looking forward to see what GFRIEND have in store for us in the future! ~
