But alas no, today morning Jessica released her statement through Blanc.
"Hello. This is Jessica.I was given a notice of departure from Girls' Generation by the agency on September 29, and I cannot hide my shocked and upset heart about this, so I'm here to reveal my position.I have always put Girls' Generation's activities before my business or personal life as a member of Girls' Generation. However, despite my efforts for the team, I have been asked to leave the team by the agency. While I was planning my business that I've had a lot of interest in since before, I had sufficiently consulted SM as well as the members about my preparation many times and asked for their understanding.Up until the beginning of August when I was launching 'BLANC', I had received agreement and permission from SM, and congratulations from the members as well. However, in early September, after only a month since the launching, the members suddenly changed their position and held a meeting, and told me to either quit my business or leave Girls' Generation without any justifiable reason.I explained that I had already received permission from the agency, that I had never neglected Girls' Generation's activities, and that I could not suddenly halt my business due to my contract with my business partner after a month.Ultimately, I pleaded that it was unjust for me to have to make a choice. Becoming a Girls' Generation member was the best thing in my life, and I had never thought about quitting.Shocked about this, I had met with the agency CEO on September 16 to convey my position, and once again confirmed their permission for carrying out my business. However, on September 29, I was given a one-sided notice asking me to leave Girls' Generation. Due to this, I was also unable to attend the fan meeting in China on September 30, and I have also been excluded from following Girls' Generation activities.I have received great pain and cannot hide my sadness that I was asked by the agency and fellow members, whom I've spent 15 years with putting in all my passion and effort, to leave Girls' Generation just because of the reason that I'm starting a business.I also want to apologize for causing concern to all the fans. Please understand that this situation is not at all what I had wanted, and that I've always treasured Girls' Generation, and that I will continue to do so. Thank you for always supporting and loving me.Sincerely,
It kind of contradicts SM's statement (but I never really believed them anyway), but it actually seems like the other 8 members knew that something was going to happened. Maybe they didn't expect SM to give Jessica the sack so soon, but they knew something was bound to happen. What hurts more is that Jessica actually said the members asked her to choose between Blanc or Girls' Generation. That was totally unexpected. I would have never expected the girls to say that to Jessica though, since they have supported her right from the start. Something must have happened to make the girls think of doing that, was it SM? Right now we just need to hear from the girls themselves, to speak out on what actually happened. There's always two sides to a story and we need to understand both before coming to an unbiased judgment. It might probably be a huge misunderstanding but it's good to clear things out. They've just came back from Shen Zhen and I think they should meet up with Jessica to have a good talk. However, I don't think SM would let the girls say anything on their own - there were many changes to their schedules this week.Jessica
At last night's Shen Zhen's fanmeet, the fans kept shouting "Jessica! Jessica! " The members obviously knew but can't say anything .... they didn't mention Jessica at all throughout the event, but they did little things like not singing during Jessica's part, even though SM told them to cover her parts, but for some songs they just left it there, especially during 'Complete', the first part was Jessica's but there was only background one was singing Jessica's parts - the girls know no one can replace Jessica's place. At the last song, 'Complete', Seohyun couldn't keep it in anymore and cried... and during 'Gee' at the start, where Tiffany and Jessica was supposed to sing at the starting side by side, Tiffany actually looked to her left...to see that no one was there, and pointed the mic to the fans to sing Jessica's parts. I'm sure the members feel more devastated than anybody else, they've been through thick and thin together, shared happy and sad memories together, but yet it had to end this way.

it's not complete without 9 |
So Dispatch released another article, this time a Q&A with 3 close friends of Girls' Generation, 1 of them especially close to Jessica. Not sure how true that is, because afterall they are just a media outlet who may have not get their facts right.
The first batch of questions were asking whether Jessica wanted to leave or was she asked to leave. It was both. In January, Jessica said she wanted to get married and after their Japan concert in July, she said that she “could not go on any longer” and needed to find her own life. The insiders say she didn't show much determination with Girls' Generation activities and that she has wanted to go overseas next year to study design and become a designer after she quits the team. The members were shocked but the members and SM wished that since she wanted to get married next year and start her own business, she should at least focus and give her best in the last album they will have together as 9. So she indeed wanted to leave. But that was just the beginning, she changed her mind afterwards and decided to stay.
Another question asked was whether Jessica gave in her best in Girls' Generation activities. The insiders said that Jessica did try to put in her best but she was in a situation in which she was just too busy to focus all her effort on Girls' Generation. She did a lot of work with Tyler Kwon, and she launched Blanc in August and had to travel between countries for her schedules. However I personally think that it's invalid because from August till now, the only Girls' Generation activities were their 7th anniversary fanmeeting, Kcon concert and SMTown Seoul - all of which Jessica did attend and perform. Not forgetting she has her own personal schedules like Li Ning fanmeeting with Krystal, appearing at fashion stores opening.
So what was her relationship with Tyler Kwon? Insiders said that Jessica had a Tiffany&Co engagement ring, and told members she would be getting married next September in Hong Kong. Tyler Kwon was with her at every schedule she attended, including filming for "Jessica & Krystal" in New York. However the producer of "Jessica & Krystal" said that he did not know what happened after filming but during filming with the crew, there was nothing like that.
Dispatch asked the insiders if anyone opposed to Jessica starting 'Blanc', and the answer was no. The members and SM did not disagree to her starting 'Blanc' but they all did not expect it to happen so quickly. They all thought that she will start her business after marriage next year. Thus, the members told her not to make 'Blanc' her main focus and neglect Girls' Generation activties, as ultimately Girls' Generation should be her first and main priority. SM also worried about Jessica's new business due to concerns that it could become a business that used Girls' Generation's popularity to sell goods to fans, but there was nothing stated in her contract that forbade her from starting a business, so they did not oppose to it as well.
However it seems like Jessica has planned out her life nicely - get married, create a portfolio (as to not take the SATs) and was focused on launching her brand fast in order to do this and enrol into a designing school in US. At this point she put her main focus on her personal affairs rather than Girls' Generation activities. It was at this point when the members asked her to make a decision. But I personally feel that it's okay for her to do her personal things when Girls' Generation is not promoting right now, they only have a few concerts during this period after they wrapped up their Japan tour in July.
According to the insiders, on September 15 after much consideration, Jessica decided she wanted to stay in Girls' Generation, and to also keep her business at the same time. She said "If it's okay with you guys, then I want to continue Girls' Generation even after marriage..."At first the members were okay to her marriage and business but they asked that she respect the members and the fans by continuing with her plans starting after their main promotions were over. But, the members decided with the situation how it is, with their China Fanmeet Tour from September till January, preparations for their last album could not be done properly. Thus, they held a meeting with Jessica in September and asked her to make a choice - 'Blanc' or Girls' Generation.
After meeting about 2-3 times, Jessica left for New York, thinking that there was no need to talk any further as she decided to keep both. She returned one day before their fanmeeting, but at this point of time, the members already felt that she has placed Girls' Generation as her second priority. There was no conflicts in the group, but it's just that they feel that Jessica needs to get her priorities right.
The insiders also said that the chances of Jessica returning to Girls’ Generation is less than 10%. If anything, for her to come back, she has to make the first move, getting her priorities sorted out. But, it may be too late now, especially with Tyler Kwon involved. There is also the possibility that Jessica could request to go solo or start acting, however, considering the time for preparation, it's not likely to happen right at the moment.
So why can't Jessica just give up 'Blanc'? Mainly it's because it is her dream to do designing, and it's also her dream to be a singer. It was also rumoured that Tyler Kwon has used Jessica's name to bring in investments for 'Blanc', and that Jessica is liable to pay $40 million if the business fails. It's one of the reasons why she held on to 'Blanc' at this point. But Tyler Kwon is seriously pretty fishy. I don't trust him, I fear that Tyler has been using Jessica for his own gains. Especially when Jessica said she wanted to get married (according to the insiders), but Tyler Kwon repeatedly mentioned on Weibo that he has no intentions to get married in the next few years. It's kind of fishy.
What I honestly feel right now is that the 8 members were concerned about Jessica and wanted her to get her priorities right, because she started 'Blanc' so quickly and everything is moving so fast, there might be problems for Jessica if the business fails or anything. But then again, we need to hear from the girls, what is actually going on actually. I'm sure they won't want to give up that many years of friendship and trust just because of 'Blanc"
Right now the girls are still carrying out their schedules, Sunny has DJ, TTS just had a fansign and is still promoting 'Holler'. It hurts to see them faking smiles when they're actually not okay . Apparently at TTS fansign just now, they cried. Taeyeon said other than protecting soshi there's nothing else. Yet she let everyone experience such things, and is really sorry. She kept crying while saying, she hopes to only bring happy and good things to everyone from now on. The girls kept apologising and crying, Seohyun also asked to trust them again ... it hurts.....
Still holding on to soshi bond, forever.
Never regretted being a sone
Let's go on for a long time together ...
