[Day 27- What you think about your friends]
I have always considered myself to be fortunate enough to have really good close friends around me to share joys and sadness in my life together with. It's not about the quantity but the quality.
Sometimes, friends are the pillars of strength you have, the support you need to conquer or overcome any setback which you might have. Sometimes, friends help you to learn new things about them as well as yourself and grow wiser as a person. I always like to listen to little episodes in my friends life, which makes me get a wider horizon of the world and also learn new things at the same time. There are also times where we depend on each other and share woes and then giving advices to each other.
Although there are friends who enter and leave my life, I always think that it helps us to grow as a person as we gain experiences. But I would never deny the fact that we were once friends. There are also people where I have been close to but then things happened and we lost touch with each other. In life it's destined to happen. When there is this much of a distance between people, it is really difficult to maintain that level of friendship that is easier to cultivate when people are together.
Nevertheless, I'm thankful and blessed to have known so many people whom I call friends. 10 years down, 20 years down, 50 years down, I hope that would never change.
