CHAMPIONS IN THE MAKING .

So I kept to my promise to my K2 kids and went back to the centre to attend their graduation ceremony!! It was rather exciting for me personally because it's been like 2 months since we left the centre and IT WAS SO NICE SEEING EVERYONE AGAIN!!! Also it has been god knows how many years since I last attended/participated in a K2 graduation event so it was pretty interesting and exciting at the same time.

So met up with Chun Hao and Farah together first before heading to the centre and apparently it was their annual carnival cum graduation ceremony for the K2s and parents to attend where children's work were being displayed and there were also game booths (by the teachers) and even popcorn and cotton candy stations so it really felt like a mini funfair!

The graduation ceremony was held upstairs in the big room aka the K2 classroom aka the room everyone gathers for events and celebrations. And they even placed carpets for the stage!!! The graduation ceremony had performances by the K2 children - which I have witnessed their rehearsals and practices all the way back to September!! Learning 3 songs, dances and all the routines was not an easy feat but it was really heartwarming to see their effort and hardwork paid off at the end! There's this song which I liked when I watched them learn the song, Proud of You, and I'm PROUD TO SAY I'M REALLY PROUD OF THEM !!! Felt super touched and impressed during the ceremony and like imagine how would the K2 teachers felt right .... they probably felt super bittersweet with the children being in the centre for like 3 to 4 years.

They showed video montages of events and activities they did for the past year - AND OMG THEY FEATURED OUR PARENTS WORKSHOP IN THERE WE WERE SURPRISED YET THANKFUL FOR IT. Then they also showed video messages from the children, which some were really childlike and cute and there were more serious messages from the teachers as well.

It was great seeing the children again and I hope they will continue to shine and become champions in the future :)
