FOREVER & ALWAYS .

So last night, news broke out that three members of Girls' Generation will not be renewing their contracts with SM Entertainment - Tiffany, Sooyoung and Seohyun, thus effectively making them no longer under SM Entertainment. Upon the release of this news, fans were worried and wondering if this means the end of the group and that the group is disbanding. 

Thankfully, the girls didn't let that happen. SM released a statement saying that the group is precious to them and to the fans and they would all like to continue on the group, even if they did not renew contracts with the companies. They are still working out the details but hopefully everything turns out well although it might be hard for them to come together and release an album under different labels but there were other groups which made it possible so we're hoping that the same will happen too for the girls.

It has come to a stage where the girls has cemented their status in the kpop industry and there is no need to try and prove their worth and try to break records because they have already left a legacy. All that we wish for is to continue on the team and come together once in a while to release albums and hold concerts - which is what the members want to do as they get older. Actually for the hiatus for the past two years from Lion Heart to Holiday Night, the girls have been doing their solo stuff and this comes as no surprise to the fans so by now we would have gotten used to it. To wait and anticipate their comeback is something which keeps us going. The girls may want to go and achieve their dreams and I'm just going to support their every decision. 

The future is still unknown, but let's hope it only gets better from now on. Girls' Generation has been, and will continue to be, a big part of my life. They are a source of inspiration, happiness encouragement for me to get through tough times especially in my teenage years. 

For the past 7 years in being a SONE, I've learnt and experienced so much much and grew as a person. But if anything, I'm more than thankful for all the memories spent for the times shared together be it good or bad. I will continue to hold on to the precious memories and to continue making new ones. I feel like we have grown so much together and I'm just feeling very thankful and regretful but with some hope and trust in what is yet to come. Thanks for being a part of Girls' Generation and thanks for holding on to the group.

Even if it takes 2 years, 5 years or even 10 years for them to release an album again together as a whole, I will still be here, always supporting their journey as SONE. "From the past till now and to the future, let's love each other unchangingly". This is only a temporary hiatus, it's still not the end yet so let's continue on this journey and go on together for a long long time. Let's continue to hold on till the end.
