TURNING TWENTY-ONE

9 January 2018 - turning 21, becoming an adult and legal. It still doesn't feel like it yet because I'm still too used to being in my comfort zone and depending on others a lot so much that it doesn't feel like I'm actually ready to have more responsibilities, making my own major decisions and facing the harsh reality world out there.

And turning 21 is also a new chapter in my life and usually people hold parties and invite their close friends and relatives to celebrate it together, so of course I also held a party the weekend before on the 6th at Aloha Changi Resort. 

Initially I didn't really have plans to hold a party but then later on after friends asking me to hold and saying it's a "once in a lifetime" kind of thing I ended up holding a party! It was actually a really last minute decision to actually only booking the venue 2 weeks before the party and ordering food a week before it! Somewhat proud of myself for being able to hold a party in such a short time but  of course thanks to my friends who offered me different inputs and opinions which has helped me alot in the planning process.

Do check them out as well as they offer value for money and delicious bakes as well ~ #notsponsoredbtw Also special thanks to my BFF JOYLYN FOR THE LOVELY BUNTINGS (be honoured ok) because she rushed through the buntings despite being sick but it all turned out really pretty so really thankful for that yall can quote me if you wanna get buntings from Joylyn ok!!

So on that day I met up with my "Set-Up Team" - Howei, Kristen and Michelle at Kovan and then grabbed down to the chalet to check in. Special shout out to them and thanks for setting time aside to help (though most of the time there was nothing to do and ended up taking photos HAHAHA)

And then the catering came as well!! Special thanks to Stamford Catering as well for the quick and smooth ordering process and customer service was really good as well ++ bonus for the set up aesthetics though!!

And the guests all started coming in and I was like SUPER busy running around and keeping my guests entertained and stuff so well the perks of having a party you gotta make sure everyone don't feel bored. But it's nice seeing everyone again after so long so it's also a great gathering opportunity!!

Planning an party is never easy but it was all worth it and I truly really enjoyed myself that night. Turning 21, I hope to become a wiser and mature person and also hoping for everything to go well for me and the people I care for around me such that I can transit into adult life smoothly. 

Thanks to my family, relatives and friends who specially made time to come down to celebrate this milestone in life together with me, thanks for making my 21st birthday a memorable one - forever thankful and blessed with all the wishes xx
